A flawless blend of paranormal fantasy and real life problems. Detective Saoirse Reilly suffers with mental health issues – she's wanting to commit suicide. However, a child goes missing and she must find the child before she can take her life. Add vampires to the mix and you've got an intriguing story you won't be able to put down. The cast of characters is diverse and relatable. The plot isn't all action but a woman struggling with life in general. The pacing was steady and I didn't find any dull moments. Overall I thought it was a good read and I'll definitely check out the next book in the series.
